Why spirituality is necessary for you to find your soulmate

Soulmates EXIST!

Google describes a soulmate like this: A soulmate is someone that just gets you. It’s a connection of minds, a mutual respect, an unconditional love and a total understanding. It’s about being yourself and knowing, not only that person is following and understanding your thoughts, but is right there with you, side by side.

You might have felt this kind of love connection before, if so, you might be asking yourself: What happened? Why didn’t it last? Why was it temporarily?

First let’s clarify the definition and purpose of a soulmate. The word soulmate is the combination of the word soul (the spirit and essence of a person) and mate (one member of a pair). It represents a spiritual partnership with a common spiritual goal.

This is no different than a business partnership where 2 or more people share as a common goal the successful manifestation of a business idea. Or a marriage in which a common goal could be the success of living together in harmony, forming a family, etc.

Google defines spirituality as: the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. To find one’s soulmate, one must understand spirituality and one’s soul purpose so then one can find its mate.

Often people think that they will find their soulmate by luck or coincidence and once they find it they think they will be eternally happy. While the general ideal could be true, what they don’t take into consideration are two important things:

Finding one’s soulmate requires sharing the same spiritual common goal which goes beyond material or physical things because these are limited and have an end like a marriage that ends in a divorce, this is why you don’t want to marry a husband, you want to marry your soulmate. In a soulmate relationship 2 souls mate or partner sharing a common goal that has no end. And, like finding any other partnership this requires an effort and getting out of one’s comfort zone. To maintain this spiritual partnership and be eternally happy work is required. In business, for example, the reason you will partner with someone is to expand, to grow and reach places where you can’t go on your own. The same happens in a soulmate relationship; you must nurture the partnership and aim for the bigger goal and grow together.

The reason most relationships end is because one person evolves faster than the other one; one person wants more while the other one would rather stay in their comfort zone. As a result, they stop moving towards their common goal and eventually their eternal connection and spiritual partnership gets broken.

Would a business partnership last if only one of the partners works towards their goal?

If you are aiming to find your soulmate you first must understand and align with your soul’s purpose. Imagine looking for a business partner without a business plan. Would you find the right one?

Once you are working on achieving your soul’s purpose, then, the universe will present options to mate with your soulmate.

Nowadays there are many spiritual teachings you can try to align with your soul and it’s purpose.
